The DLEP Programme Ended March 2025

The federal Digital Literacy and Emergency Preparedness Programme — $47M over two phases — closed on March 31, 2025. Organisations that relied on DLEP-funded curriculum from Gluu, Connected Canadians, and HelpAge Canada no longer have a guaranteed supply of free structured digital literacy programming.

DCC fills that gap directly. Unlike DLEP-funded programmes, DCC does not depend on government grants to exist. A simple annual licence gives your organisation reliable, always-on curriculum that won't disappear when a programme authority ends.

Built-in outcome reporting: DCC now includes a knowledge check framework — before-and-after quizzes on core modules. After a workshop session, a facilitator opens one page and downloads a CSV report showing knowledge gains and confidence scores across the group. That report is the documented outcome evidence federal grant applications require. Your library leaves every DCC session with data you can use in your own funding applications.
