What We're Building Next Spring & Summer 2026
Video Tutorials
Short, clear video walkthroughs for every module — so learners can watch someone do it before trying it themselves. No production jargon, no fast talking, no assumptions. Each video will be captioned and viewable at half speed.
Print Cheat Sheets
A one-page printable summary for each module — designed to sit beside a device and be referred to in the moment. Large text, simple language, no internet required once printed. Available from the Print Centre.
More Modules
New modules are in development on topics our learners have asked for: telehealth and virtual doctor appointments, smart home devices, and advanced scam awareness. We currently have 15 modules — more are coming.
White-Label Version for Libraries
A customisable version of Digital Confidence Centre for Ontario public libraries, community centres, and credit unions — with their branding, local resources, and a facilitator dashboard. We're talking to partners now.

Location-Specific Resources
Confirm your city so we can show the resources nearest to you — whether you are in St. Thomas, London, Windsor, or another part of Ontario. Resources for your community will appear at the top of the list.
Visual Example Polish
Clearer, easier-to-read formatting for the scam examples shown in Module 2 and the Scam Simulator — so it is even easier to see exactly what warning signs to look for.
More FAQ Answers
We are adding new questions to the FAQ page based on feedback from our beta learners — including questions about Wi-Fi, browser caches, spam folders, and saving passwords safely.

French Language Support
All 11 modules will be available in French for bilingual Ontario seniors. We want every learner to be able to use this site comfortably in the language they feel most confident in.
Printable Guides
Download and print any module to keep beside your device. A printed summary is especially helpful for steps you want to follow along with in real life — like setting up passwords or ordering groceries.
2FA Training
A clear, step-by-step guide for setting up two-step verification (also called two-factor authentication) on the accounts that matter most — email, banking, and Apple ID. No jargon, just plain steps with screenshots.
Future Ideas Exploring
Practice Exercises
Interactive activities to practise what you learned in a safe environment — no real accounts, no real money, no risk. You can try things out, make mistakes, and learn without any consequences.
Family Progress Dashboard
A simple summary that family members or caregivers can check — showing which modules have been completed and how a loved one is progressing. Designed to be a conversation starter, not a surveillance tool.
Getting Help You Deserve
A new module on dealing with tech support, chatbots, and ageism in customer service — because every person deserves patient, respectful help, and knowing how to ask for it is a skill too.

Dark Mode Support
Switch to a darker screen colour using the moon button at the top of the page. Easier on the eyes in low-light rooms or at night.

A reading comfort toggle in the sidebar that switches to a font designed to be easier to read for people with dyslexia.

The whole site works smoothly on iPad and iPhone — large tap targets, readable text, and no awkward side-scrolling.

Practise spotting real-looking scams in a completely safe environment. No risk, all learning — with realistic examples from Canadian scams.

DCC for Your Community
Are you a library, credit union, or community organisation serving older adults in Ontario? We are actively developing a version of Digital Confidence Centre that can be offered under your branding, integrated with your existing programmes, and supported with facilitator training.
This is not a paid product — we are looking for mission-aligned partners who want to bring quality digital literacy programming to their communities without building it from scratch.
