Plain language summary: When you run a diagnostic, your answers are sent through a secure Two Birds Innovation proxy to generate your report. The proxy does not log or store your answers — they are used only to produce the result and then discarded. Default (built-in AI): When you generate a diagnostic, your answers are sent from your browser to a secure Cloudflare Worker proxy operated by Two Birds Innovation. The proxy forwards your request to Anthropic (the AI provider) and returns the result. Your answers are used only to produce your report — they are not logged, stored, or used for any other purpose by Two Birds Innovation or Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes the request in transit as a sub-processor.
Optional (bring your own key): If you choose to use your own AI provider key (Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini, or Ollama), your answers are sent directly from your browser to that provider. They do not pass through our proxy. Your API key is stored only in your browser and is never sent to Two Birds Innovation. Review your provider's privacy policy:
After generating your report, Clarity offers to email you a copy of your results. Providing your email address is entirely optional. If you submit your email, it is sent to Web3Forms (primary) or Formspree (fallback) — third-party form delivery services. Along with your email, we send: your business name, your readiness score, your top recommendation, and your suggested next step.
We use this information to send you one email with your diagnostic results. We do not add you to a mailing list unless you explicitly request it. Review the privacy policies of these services:
Clarity uses the Atkinson Hyperlegible font (Braille Institute, SIL Open Font Licence). The font files are self-hosted — no request is made to Google Fonts or any external font service.
Clarity does not use cookies or any analytics service. We have no visibility into how you use the tool.
Clarity is intended for business owners and adults making professional decisions. We do not knowingly collect information from people under 18.
PIPEDA (Canada's private-sector privacy law) gives you the right to access, correct, and request deletion of your personal information. Because we hold no personal data about you beyond optional email submissions, there is little for us to action. If you submitted your email and want it removed from our records, contact us at the address below and we will remove it promptly.
